Raining
It’s raining this morning, and lightning is painting the sky. How beautiful is God’s creation, even the storms. It might flood on my campus, but I thank God, He has given us a shelter. I love rainy days, because it reminds me of my two best friends. They taught me to appreciate the cool shade of a storm cloud and the rejuvenating effect of the falling rain. It may be “gloomy or dreary” to others, but they saw the promise of coming life. If it was sunny every day nothing could grow. So they took joy in the falling rains.
I love that it reminds me of them, because they reminded me of the faithfulness of God.
This is what I feel these days. I feel guilty. I need to be more closer to Him. I want Him. I need Him. I need to make an effort to strengthen my faith.
Dear God, please guide me and help me with my life. Sometimes I give in to the temptations, but I know You are always here, trying to help me…
